=46irst of all, get the Blue Note Compilation which features all the music
sampled on the US3 album. I think it was called something like "Straight,
No Chaser."
Once you here the originals, I'll bet my prized signed copy of Pharoah
Sanders' Thebi that you will think that US3 is pretty lame.

My other suggestions:

Almost anything on New Breed (for the more blunt 'n Jazzy beats)

A Tribe Called Quest (some of the most innovative use of Jazz Samples:
***WARNING!!!!***
It's more BOOM-BAP than "biddy-biddy bop")

Old or New Mo'Wax releases (the old ones like Palmskin's Like Brothers
give pure goodness to your ear. And the
new
ones like Sam Sever's Tonight make you fee=
l
so right (no matter what they may say))

And the list goes on and on...

BTW, did anyone hear about the new label releasing old Muse records Jazz-Fun=
k.
Someone told me that ChillFreeze took an aceytate of one of the
compilations to Europe and it was Dance-floor ready.

Is ChillFreeze on this list? If you are (I hate talking about somebody in
the third person if their listening) here, drop some knowledge.
