Heard recently the absolutely fantastic live double album Revolution of
the Mind by James Brown. This has to be THE best live album I've ever
heard! Everybody just cooks on this, I sweat just listening to it.
I asked a record stoer employee if the album hasever come out on CD and he
said, no. I've learned not to trust all record store employees all the
time ("Coltrane? JOHN Coltrane? Are you sure that's his name? I can't find
anything in the dance section."), so I thought I'd check in to see if any
of you have seen this album on disc. If it's not, I propose we start a
write-in campaign to get this one on silicone.
Also, can anyone recommend any concert videos that capture live the Soul Bro #
1 at the hyperactively funkiest point in his career? I've never seen any.
