Hi,

I putting together my wish-list for Santa, and need some help with some albums.

interest me. Can someone try and *describe* the music I could find on the
following:

Digable Planets - Blowout Comb
Shara Nelson - Friendly Fire
Takemura (Is it 'Nobukazu' or 'DJ' or both?) - A Child's View
Whatever the Goldie album is called.
Recipe For Disaster - DJ Food (I think). Actually, it won't matter
what anyone says on this one, 'cause I'll buy it anyway. I love all the DJ
Food, Coldcut stuff coming out of Ninja.

Ta,

Marc.

Only got shara nelson and goldie out of that bunch -
SHARA NELSON LP (Friendly Fire) IS THE BEST ALBUM OF '95.
No kidding, kinda Trip Hoppy but with much more Soulful vocals and
diversity than ..EVERYBODY. "Portishead with soul."
"If this ain't the best album this year
i'm tone deaf."
GOLDIE LP (Timeless) gets better the more you listen to it - kinda
ambient jungle or "Intelligent Jungle" but with some soulful vocals.
State of Mind and Innercity Life are mad tracks.

Get them both but especially Shara Nelson it'll grow on you like....
a lot!
