Is this album really "boogaloo" or another case of borrowing a
moniker? Boogaloo is a pared down charanga mixed with soul that was a
GREAT movement that ended too soon. It can only be mentioned with
acid jazz in that it's funky but it's not like any AJ I've ever
heard, even on the so-called Latin compilations.
