They're from Nigeria, made 3 or four albums for MCA in the early 70's. The
colourful sleeves were by, then, extremely hip cover artist, Roger Dean (who
mostly did sleeves for nasty progessive rock bands like Yes & Uriah Heep).
They then made a couple of albums for Bronze. I know they were still around
in the mid eighties because my ex-girlfriend had a thing with a
percussionist from the band! Their first couple of albums were the best in a
kinda early Santana-ish way, and every now and then you hear a sample from
their stuff sneak in.
