Dr. Buzzard's became Kid Creole & the Coconuts; KC&TC's are pretty much over
with too, last night's show being called a "reunion." The past few times
I've seen them, which spans maybe 5 years, they've had Corey Day (who sang
Cherchez la femme originally) performing with them. It was partially her
leaving Dr. Buzzard's that inspired the change to KC&TC (from what I hear).
I rapped with Bongo Eddie after the show, and he said that last night's show
was sorta a one-off. I think their last album was '91 ("You Shoulda Told Me
You Were...").

Were they any good? Well, my back hurts today from bouncing around so much
at the show

He opened for KC&TC, and did not play with them after. He is one bugged-out
mofo. It was he, bass, guitar, and drums. Pretty funky, I gotta say, and
very reminiscent of KC&TC, but the lyrics weren't quite as sharp. And with
no Coconuts, he just can't compete. Don't know if he's recording....
