If you haven't heard of these guys, it's not all that surprising - apart from
one track on a magazine CD, they've never had any tracks released, despite
having being playing gigs around London for four years, and winning the
Capital Radio "Best London Band" award last year. Members of the band have also
worked with Greg Osby, The Roots & Steve Williamson.
Like lots of other people, they're fusing jazz, funk, hip-hop and other stuff,
but they really are in a different league to most of what we call acid-jazz, and
if you really want to check out some real late-90s music, rather than some 70's
ripoff or some guy rapping over jazz samples, then you'd be mad to miss them.
