I listened to both of them, and wasn't wildly impressed with either of
them, but the instrumental album's the clear winner. The thing that
stood out the most for me on the vocal album was the awful remake of
"Hyperbolicsyllabicsesquidylamistic" (and if I spelled that right,
someone owes me a cookie). I won't be buying it.

(For some context, I also hated the latest Gil Scott-Heron record,
and have never particularly liked Hayes's covers of other people's
songs.)
