Recently picked up London Funk Allstars.....and I dig it! I'm still
mainly a JazzSoulFunkBrasil kinda guy, but I loved those strong, solid
hip-hop beats, the only other experimental hip-hop, did you hear me?
EXPERIMENTAL HIP-HOP!!!! that I have is stuff from dj krush, and some
other odds and ends. I particularly like the Six Million Dollar Break?
Why? Because its different, and I grew up with Steve Austin in the late
70s. Plain and simple. I also enjoyed the Sure Shot and Body Rock (Turn
off the Lights, anyone?)...a very funky and a postive hip-groove!
I'm looking for feedback on this double-album, guys...
and I'm a little disappointed with the response so far on the Brasilian
flavours of jazz...YOU GUYS NO LIKE? You liked talking about EXPERIMENTAL
HIP-HOP?! Why not Brasilian stuff.....are djs out there giving it a
miss?? I wonder...if you guys like Brasil e Latin..come to TORONTO and
you will not be disappointed<<<<<just ask Paul E Lopes <right Paul?>!!!

Peace and Love y'all!
