To put my 2 yen in....
I thought it was pretty good. I definitely like it a lot more than the first,
I think partly because the first one had all old tunes and had a "let's get all
the old stuff out of the closet and put it out" feel. Also, I thought the
production was a little overdone. This album has a more mellow feel and has
that faux organ/guitar sound which works well (though I know Hunter isn't the
first who has achieved this sound). However, I still feel there are a couple
of minor production glitches that, at times, make the album sound a little
uneven but I can't expect perfection. Bravo to Blue Note for picking them up.

Charlie Hunter Trio's debut on Blue Note "Bing! Bing! Bing!" came out
on Tuesday. I'd like to hear wht this list thinks of it. Especially
their unique cover of Nirvana's "Come As You Are"...
