Soul Coughing

My brother is pretty heavy into the alternative <Lolapolooza styles>
music scene, and he just recently bought the SOUL COUGHING cd. After a
listen, I decided that I didnt really care too much for the vocals, but
thought the instrumentals were pretty groovy. In fact, I've heard of this
group (to my great surprise) being classified as "acid-jazz"??? Hmmmmm.
Has anyone heard of SOUL COUGHING? If so, how would you define their
music, etc....? What do you think of 'em?
