Jams in London?

I'm looking for information on open acid jazz jams here in London.
I used to go the the Blue Note one 'til they stopped it.
Now all I go to is an open jazz jam at my university (UCL) on a Monday
night. We get loads of people coming in from the Jazz degree at the Royal
Academy of Music just up the road, and they're been telling me about a lack
of jams in London. Also this jam is strictly jazz (from the Real Book) so no
chance to experiment and also no DJ's which is a shame as I am a guitarist
who appreciates and enjoys jamming with DJ's! Whatever next? DJ's calling
themselves musicians? (a joke, sorry - please don't flame me but there's
been so much stuff posted recently on this!)

Can someone fill me in please?

chilled margins (Igneous rocks are cool. Just don't take them for granite.)
