I was at a Peace Bureau recording session about a week ago.
They were laying down congas, Rhodes, guitar and vocals for
a beautiful track. The lovely, sparse vocals were supplied
by Natural [whom I encouraged to improvise and play around
with her opera-educated but soulful voice - therefore I get
prod. asst. credits :)].

Anyway, Natural said that she's Billy Martin's ex-girl. She
mentioned that a deal between Medeski Martin & Wood and Blue
Note might be cooking up. Rumors, rumors... but if it happens,
you heard it on this list first. :)
