My thanks to those who responded to my original post. What follows are
all the titles I've managed to put together for Cornelius and Kahimi
Karie. I'll be trying to order some of them soon, so I'm basically
looking for recommendations as to which records to order first.

According to the abbridged Trattoria catalog found in one of my Louis
Philippe records, Cornelius has the following releases:

Menu 22 (pcsr-5045) "Holidays in the Sun e.p."
Menu 28 (pcjr-9101) "Raise Your Hand Together (Black Disc)"
Menu 29 (pscr-5080) "The First Question Award"
Menu 21 (psdr-5012) "The Sun is My Enemy"
Menu 25 (psdr-5036) "Perfect Rainbow"
Menu 30 (psdr-5050) "(You Can't Always Get) What You Want"

full length release. The first two in the list have the coolest looking
sleeves (how much can you tell from the tiny little pictures?). The last
three are 3 inch cd singles. With the possible qualification that a
Stone's cover is probably most definitely not what I want, I'm looking for
recommendations as to what to have my man at Tower try ordering for me
first. (A tip for anyone in the U.S. who is looking for a Japanese
connection. I've had about 75% success rate getting trattoria titles
through Tower, and the prices have generally been in the $19 to $29 range
for full length releases. My personal connection is through the store in
Emeryville, just across the bay from San Francisco).

As far as Kahimi Karie goes, the list contains:

first ep on Crue-L (title not known)
kythmak011D "Girly"
kythmak015D "I am a Kitten" (which I have and adore?)
"My First Karie"
"L'Heur L'Existance"

The last two being on Trattoria. I saw "My First Karie" a while back when
"I am a Kitten" made it into the Berkeley Tower store's Japanese Top 50
section. It was packaged like a single, so I am a bit confused now as to
whether it is an ep or a full length release. (Unfortunately I didn't
have the sense to buy it when I had the chance).

According to Momus, he's doing a new single for Kahimi Karie called 'Good
Morning World' which will be released in Japan in October [?] and will
also be used as the soundtrack of a commercial for Menard Cosmetics.

thanks,

Alexander
