Another good one is "Black Widow" which has that near disco funk sound but
narrowly gets away with being purty darn funky.

hey, my first post in about a month--
On the Lalo subject, a few weeks back I picked up a Dizzy
Gillespie album called "Free Ride" with Lalo Schifrin
(around 1977) which was written and arranged for the most
part by Lalo Schifrin. It is wayyy funky in a slightly
mad-mod-disco sort of way. lots of fun synth sounds, Wah-Wah
Watson on Guitar on the better tracks. Plenty of that
"wacka-chicka-wacka-chicka" sound that I completely dig.
my favorite track is "Ozone Madness"
