sf jazz fest on the net

hey there. the show was good: greyboy, the new legends, and slide five
played in that order (plus greyboy again between the bands). they all
pretty much tore it up, but it looked like there was some tension between
the club managers, the artists, and the sf jazz fest organizers which
affected the crowd in the way of a very short set from slide five with
ledisi to close the show. they allowed an encore, but one tune was the
limit. slide five thanked the "sf jazz people, sort of."

anyway, i was told by a guy taking pictures with one of those apple
digital image camera/computers, who said they were downloading the shots
backstage, to be uploaded onto the web soon along with samples. in
addition, a broadcast of the show with accompanying pictures will happen in a
couple of weeks.

i don't know a lot about this sort of thing, but enough to get the sites:

try:

"addicted to noise"
http://www.addict.com/ATN/

"mediacast"
http://mediacast.evolve.com/MediaCast/

if anyone can either a) tell me what sort of computer i have to get on to
record this show onto a tape or b) take care of it and send me a copy, i
would be greatly indebted to you...slide five and ledisi did a cover of
"move me no mountain" that i would love a copy of.

so keep it cool, people, and enjoy the sf jazz fest, if at all
possible...i know i did.

keep the faith,
