Well I'm back with limited email access so I'll try and give a reply to a
few questions. I'm glad that it's fired up so much enthusiasm.

I've had about 10 offers of material up until the middle of last week and I
think there are a couple more sitting in my mail box. I think we'll get
enough to fill a CD.

I'm not a designer or a writer so I'll happily leave that side of things to
other people. I like the ideas that are coming up for a title - just
remember that the initial idea was just to make a few for the members of
this list. I'm busy enough recording music so I'm not particularly keen on
going through the hassle of pressing, printing and mailing out hundreds or
thousands of CD's. There are also likely to be problems with copyright and
I'd probably need to worry about licensing contracts if we were to make
loads of copies. I'd like to keep it simple initially, and if there really
is a demand for the CD I'd rather hand it over to someone who can look
after the distribution and mail order side of things properly.

I'm probably going to hold off buying a CD recorder until I see what the
new HP drive with dedicated audio software is like so I guess it will be
about a month or so before I start putting the thing together.

I hope this email reaches you looking sensible. It's the first from my new
location.

James.
