Jason, Jason, Jason...... You are going to spew when I tell you this.
Once many moons ago I went into a record store in Melbourne (Central
Station,) and they had a vinyl heat-press, *specifically* designed for
flatting out warped records. My point is as follows: if we had one in
Australia, I'm sure you could have found one in one of your local specialty
stores. C'est la vie.

On another "vinyl care" note, how the hell can I keep my vinyl clean in
order to stop it from developing crackling and alladat. My most common
problem was tiny white dots forming on the record that looked like tiny
dots of tippex. I eventually worked out that these were dots of
concentrated dust and could be removed by severly cleaning the area with
the *tiny* bottle of cleaning fluid I got with my static brush. I manange
to prevent them from coming back by running the static brush over the
record both before and after I play a record and by also keeping the stylus
clean. I'm aware that the best way to keep them clean is probably to run
over the record with the static brush *and* the cleaning fluid, but what
can I use once the bottle of fluid is empty? No-one sells refills down
here and I don't want to have to buy a $9 static brush every time I need
more cleaning fluid! Help!!!!
