Salut,

I'm very very very sorry about my response to Jon that I sent to the
list, this is awful netiquette, I know! As an attempt to make you
forgive my stupidity, here are some news from Paris:

About the reissue of Ellington's "Drum is a woman", the whole show is
actually on now in Paris, directed by Manu Dibango (of "Soul makossa"
fame)

DJ Zaz, manager of 220 volts records, should be putting out a comp
with X-Pensive, Gilb-R, Dee Nasty (=dr. old school here in France),
Hakim and King Kooba

About X-Pensive (DJ Manu+Lexi), they have an EP out on source

The famous Motorbass LP is called "Pansoul" is apparently out also on
CD, and the maxi "L'homme qui valait trois milliards"(aka Cassius
001), that was already mentioned here, is out of this LP. The
reference is apparently MB003... is this perhaps self-production?
(good luck finding it!)

First release on DJ Cam's new label, Inflammable records, is
R. Meyer's EP, "Secret song".

Schkoonk and Yaya are having respectively an LP and an EP out on plug
it! records, check out plug it! soon at:
http://cermics.enpc.fr/~dh/fromage/plugangl.html

Femi (YD) has its own label called Rotating records, first thing out
is C223

2nd compilation of the excellent swiss mag "Vibrations", but most
people on this list should already have the titles on it...

Daft Punk's remix of Gabrielle's next single, "Forget about the
world", and a remix of I: Cube's "Disco Cubism", which is on top of
Gilb-R's charts.

Sorry again for the error, and Jon could you be the only person not
deleting my message :)?

Salut,

Daniel
