There is a remix show on one of the latin music-format stations here in
the NYC. A mix of Tribal, latin Hip Hop (old and new school), Salsa and
so on. Good show. A good mix of the music in the hispanic dance scene
here in NYC. While listening to the show in a taxi the Gypsy Kings remix
came on. Great mix! Emphasis on great. I know we have talked about on
this list of how cool it would be to do a remix of a Gypsy Kings song.
Who ever did this mix and if you are on this listing keep it going. More
flamenco based club music I say.

1Alright! I LOVE the Gypsy Kings.. goin to the concert in September up
here
in Seattle.. anyways. There was a DJ from SF spinning up here a little
while ago, and he played a remix of Ottmar Liebert's song Havana Club.
The song already grooves with a good little synth riff and drum beat,
then
the guitars come in on top. This is one a ?maxi-single?? (six songs I
think) called Euphoria. If you've ever heard Ottmar's stuff, this is WAY
OUT OF HERE for him! Anyways.. where was I going.. oh yeah, DJ Disciple
did a remix of it.. actually he was busted cause he just coped the whole
damn thing and added in a couple of things to it. But, if you like the
Gypsy Kings, you'll like this.
