I'm KIDDING!

I'm back, residing in San Francisco, and I have some info for y'all:

The Acid Jazz T-Shirt Sale!!! (Updated with my new address)

People have asked about the availability of the acid jazz list t-shirt.
This is a shirt that was conceived and designed by members of the list.
After input on design ideas and voting on a final form, I picked up
the task of producing the t-shirts. I am selling the t-shirts to recoup
the expenses of making them (over $700), and I am making a profit margin
of about $1 a shirt. Obviously I'm not in this for the money- I suck at
business, but I do think the shirts are cool, and I would like to recoup
my investment. This is a onetime deal, and if you want to verify the
quality of the shirts or my credibility, ask others on the list.

If you do not know what the t-shirts look like, I have asked Erik Boralv
to put up the picture of them on his web site. If you do not have Web
access, I'm sure someone can describe them to you. The WWW address is:

http://www.cmd.uu.se/AcidJazz/T/

This message contains all the information you need to know about ordering
a t-shirt. The first part is general info, followed by ordering info for
the U.S., selected Asian and European countries (and Canada), then the
rest of the world. At the end are some examples, then a handy one page
reference guide you can print using PrintScrenn or whatever. That has my
new California address on it.

What you need to do is first check for t-shirt payment method
depending on where you live. Then, if check or cash payment is an option,
find out your postage, and send me a check. If you send me the wrong
amount, I will not cash your check....

Generally: The t-shirts are $12 each. They are white tees with blue/
black print. All XL only (mail me about limited availability of XXL).
I've got about 30-35 XLs left, and *very few* XXL left. Since everyone
who wanted one in the past already got one, I am not reserving any.
First checks in, first t-shirts out....

One last thing before the specifics. My new (worthless) bank (BofA)
won't cash foreign checks. So I've kept my Hawaii account open *JUST FOR
YOU*. Ain't I sweet. What that means, though, is if you send me a
check in foreign currency, you'll hafta wait till I send it to Hawaii,
and I get confirmation that it clears. The deal is- you get your shirt
reserved when I get your check- I don't *send* the shirt until the money
clears. SO, like those plastic toys you could get off the back of cereal
boxes, "Please allow 4 to 6 (to 8) weeks delivery....". I'm not here to
rip you off, I'm here to recoup the money I dished out making the
shirts. :-)

All prices and shipping are exactly the same as when I first started
selling them.

Specifically:
=========================================================================
US Residents- Send cash/check *only*, $12 for a t-shirt, plus $3 shipping.
*Very* limited XXL are $14, but mail me FIRST to double check availibility.
But for a regular XL shirt, you can just send a check for $15, and I'll get
an XL shirt out to you (see end of message for my address).

=========================================================================
Residents of the following countries (or more specifically- people who
can send me checks from these countries in the local currency):
Australia, Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Fiji,
France, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New
Zealand, Singapore, Tonga, Vanuatu, Western Samoa and Tahiti.

You have a choice-
You can either send me a check for $12 plus shipping
(see below) PLUS 10% (for currency exchange) IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY'S CURRENCY
- i.e. in French Francs, Japanese Yen, Greek Drachmas- just like you
would write a check for anything else. (Canadian checks can actually send
in US$ too- but then don't add the 10%).
Again, very limited number of XXL for $14, but *check with me first*.

Air shipping for:
Canada: $3
Europe: $4.50
Pacific Rim (Japan included): $6 :-( (And we're closer....)
(if you live anywhere else, I can't take your checks anyway...)

OR

You can request to see my "wish list", and suggest a trade. If you want
to send a check, you can write it immediately, and use the current
exchange rate to figure out what you owe (two decimal places is
fine...). If you want to barter, wait for my wish list, then DOUBLE CHECK
to see if I haven't been offered something already. In rare cases, if I
know I can sell extra copies of certain CDs, I'll take an extra copy.
BUT CHECK WITH ME FIRST!!!

=======================================================================
Residents of any other country... :-( You're SOL (Sh*t Out of Luck).
You either get stuck paying the bank insane prices for International
Money Orders, or you get stuck paying insane prices for CDs of 12"s to
trade me for a shirt. The last possibility is sending U.S. CASH... Not a
good alternative, but probably cheaper than anything else. BUT!
Check with me for postage!!!!. :-( At least with CDs
you don't get lumped with shipping costs. Mail me for my wish list. :-)

=========================================================================
For example: Joe SixMeg in Detroit sends me a check for $15 and gets one
shirt. Easy as that, done deal. Jane Macintosh in France wants an XXL-
after confirming with me that there's some left, she checks the currency
exchange (4.9 Francs to a dollar?), multipies that with $18.50 ($14 for the
XXL, $4.50 for shipping) to get 91 Francs, plus 10% (9 Francs). She sends
me a check for 100 Francs from her bank, and gets an XXL. Done deal. Jo
Cyber wants to know how s/he can get a shirt from South Africa- s/he asks
for my wish list, and debates whether to send U.S.$$$ in cash, or to
send a CD instead. Luckily, a friend of Jo's works at a music store, so
s/he gets an import for about the same price as what it would have cost
for the shirt- but now s/he doesn't have to pay shipping. S/he sends me the
CD, and I send him/her a shirt.

==========================================================================
OOOOF!!!!! Confusing, eh? Well, here's something that should help.

Here's a chart you can hopefully just press "Printscreen" and it should
give you all the info....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

XL: $12 XXL: $14 (Confirm)
Shipping- US: $3 Europe: $4.50 Pacific (Japan): $6
(Double check your country's "eligibility". Mail Greg for barter if
direct check is not an option from where you live. )
*********Non-US$ checks please apply 10% to the total*******

My NEW California address: On your checks- 1) make sure your
Greg Beuthin ADDRESS is current, or include
269 Lily St. a current one, 2) write your
San Francisco, CA 94102 EMAIL address on the check in case
USA I need to confirm something,
3) write amount and size(s) of shirts.

Peace
