Salut,

First of all thanks to Dino for giving me a hurry in contacting Yellow
again. I had the opportunity to talk to Chris (the french Kiss)
yesterday, but unfortunately he seemed quite in a hurry so I could'nt
ask him questions about La Funk Mob's projects. The informations he
gave me are available on the www discography page:
http://cermics.enpc.fr/~dh/yellow/yellow.html

Basically, an EP of Kid Loco is out, another one of Ingrid de Lambre
is due out soon, they are both in the usual vein for Yellow, said
Chris, the trip-hop thing, he talked about Kid Loco of a sound that is
more "english" than "french", more in a rocky vein; what I remember
about the De Lambre one is that there is a Fender line on hip-hop
breakbeats, and also that it has a Jungle remix by a japanese girl
(sorry, I know this is'nt very useful! :). The Dimitri LP is still in
preparation, while de Salome de Bahia LP should wait a bit more before
coming out. That's all he had time to tell me, but I managed to give
him my adress so now I'll be receiving their news and forward them to
the list, I promise!

Regarding Big Cheese, nothing very special except some slight updates
in the pages (the URL is
http://cermics.enpc.fr/fromage/big_cheese.html), and I plan to sample
a few more of their CD this afternoon. Anyway, I should probably see
DJ Momo on thirsday, so I'll be able to give more informations about
the news and the outcoming things by then... Stay tuned!

Last thing: about the live bootlegs, I found a year ago a bootleg of a
Galliano concert in Rome; it's on CD, it's done in Italy, and the
sound is quite poor. It's just funny to hear them say "Ciao Roma!" and
such things....

And I'll be surprised if Bambi, who seems to know well his
compatriotes of La Funk Mob, does'nt have anything to add to the
discography of Dino, although it seems quite comprehensive...

See you

Daniel
