Anyone planning on going to the Red Hot Happening in NYC on the 2nd? I
picked up a flyer (at the Groove Collective show, natch), and it looks
hot, i'm surprised no-one's mentioned it already. Features DJ Krush, DJ
Spooky, Skylab, Spookey Ruben, and Amiri Baraka, plus "special guests."
smaller print says, "installation by Emergency Broadcast Network,
DJ's/Live & Virtual Performance/ Multi-media & video installation, and
special guests from Red Hot's new album _Offbeat-a Red Hot Soundtrip_
featuring Soul Coughing, David Byrne, DJ Krush, Laika, Christian McBride,

looks like a good time. Friday Feb. 2nd 8:30 pm - 3:00 am at the Westbeth
Theater, 151 Bank Street NYC. any comment?
