Some of you are on this list as we have done projects together in the =
past and it is a way of reminding you to HIRE ME!!!
I was thinking about producing a Bass Night ( or day) at a little =
studio in
Redwood City ( that is in the san Francisco Bay Area).
Now I may expand it to other instruments as well. All of us need to =
have new projects, and playing solo in-front of an audience is =
something many of us do not get a chance to do either because of the =
music we play or the traditional role of our instruments. Classical =
Pianists as an example play at recitals as part of their learning =
process. Most of the rest of us play in duos or trios on up either =
reading or improvising, but usually never as a soloist, being =
responsible for all the choices.
Many of you have shown some interest when I mentioned it on the =
internet, and those musicians that are in the area, and would like to =
play and hear other players ( actually we will all be an audience for =
ourselves ) please e-mail RSVP so I can make arrangements ( no pun =
intended).
I would like to limit the number of participants to 12-15 and =
audience of 40 total.
ALL levels encouraged, and if asked, comments could be provided, but =
this is for YOU, not to be judged. ( beginners or those having =
trouble coming up wiith an idea or type of material, e-mail me for =
some suggestions.) It is just a chance to see what we do with what we =
have but in-front of other humans. Will we need to make adjustments? =
Will something change? Who knows.... find out..
