Just a question on this matter: why should one assume that a journalist
is not "within the genre?" Despite most people's negative bias there is
a lot of healthy, organic interaction that occurs between journalists
and musicians and listeners. IMO. In fact, if you look closely,
especially with a-j, most writers double-up as musical creative types as
well.
