Okay, first let me apologize in advance for using the list as a marketing
device. Yes, its somewhat unethical, BUT you don't have to read it.

A lot of people were interested in checking out tapes in the past, and I
finally got a slew of them. What are they? 90 minutes of live outtakes
from the Bird of Paradise in Ann Arbor and WCBN, intermingled with some
left field beat-heavy free jazz transitions. Music includes hip-hop
(lyrical and experimental), acid jazz, drum and bass, electro (for them
b-boys/girls out there), and some other shit that defies categorization.
The majority of segments feature DJ bubblicious on dex (lots and lots of
cutting/transforming/mixing technique) and Colin Stetson on the saxes
(this kid can milk scratch noises out of a woodwind! and thats just the
tip of the iceberg). Top of the dome rawness and experimentation
prevail.

The last tape just got charted in Straight No Chaser courtesy CK Smart,
so you know it'll be good. I am trying to sell them at this point for ten
bucks a pop (its to pay for school, really!) and will be available for a
limited time only. E-mail me if you are interested and I'll drop the rest
of the pertinent info on you. Don't sleep on this! And one more time,
sorry for doing the capitalist thing on the list.
