I know his name is Jon Maron. He himself is a groovemeister, ultrasolid
and like a miser's wallet (i.e. always in the pocket). I've never seen
him play live in person, but he's definitely what makes GC work. Plus he
plays a Music Man Stingray, (a phat sounding bass in many ways) which is
always cool in my book! :)
Jez Colin of the Solsonics is a similar-type player. I've seen the guy
rip as well during a bass solo, which took my by surprise.
