I didn't mean to come down on personally, it just sounded from your post
that if a deejay wasn't laying tracks ontop of each other to create
something new all the time he/she was asleep at the wheel. And while I
defintely can see that sometimes I find it annoying, less annoying with
house where there are some many damn generic sounding grooves that they NEED
to be combined to be interesting. It just bugs me when I see all these
bedroom mixing "recipes" take 1 REQ and 1 part Attica Blues and 2 parts
sythn line from a Roland 303 mix in some accappella from an old Yellowman
single, etc etc as if that was the whole point of deejaying. Well I guess
now everybody's clear and I can relax as it turns out that both the people I
replied to (you and Dylan) kinda agree with what I said anyway...

hell I was ALMOST hoping for a flame war--get some excitement back on the
list. Maybe I could start talking about Maxwell and start a fight in here..:>
