Greetings,

is there an archive that contains listings of all of the Top * lists
that people post to the group? It seems like this would be a useful
thing to have for newcomers (i.e., me) and would save
people from having to fume, 'Oh no, not *this* question again.' If
there is any interest, I would be willing to try and maintain this
sort of thing (assuming it doesn't exist).

While on this topic, is there a central web site that has a lot of
acid-jazz / jazz / whatever info (similar to what exists at
hyperreal.com for the ambient/idm/techno set).? Also possibly a cool
thing to have...

and now for something completely different ...

For those in the DC area, I have found a fairly decent place that
spins some acid-jazz and trip-hop for an hour or two on Friday and
Saturday nights. After that, it sort of moves into fairly standard
house, maybe a little 70's and then the occasional oddity.
It's called f/x lounge in Adams-Morgan (upstairs
from a restaurant called Felix). Anyway, thought I would mention it.
The only downside is that the drinks have NYC prices. >:|
