French rap's where its at, let it be heard.

Mc Solaar is out on a major label, so you should not have problems
getting his stuff, if you like that Mc Solaar vibe check out "Les
Sages Poetes de la Rue's 'Qu'est ce qui fait marcher les sages' ". Or
better still, buy a copy of Revue Noire (Mag on African Contempory
Art... Hey you've to give to get). And you'll get a free cd with an
amazing collection of French underground music, with deadly rap
tracks from the likes of Mc Nasty and da Soul Man, Rootsneg, Les
Sages Po.,La cliqua (bad group, like in finger licking nastee). Mc
Solaar's DJ Jimmy J. has a label out, Jimmy J productions, and graces
our eardrums with interesting LPs and comps, from time to time.
The sureshot is Positive Black Soul's "Salaam Salaam" it kicks ya
head in from the first boom beat to the last. With style, mad
originality and finesse. It's out on Island's sub. Mango.
