Joe... never underestimate how rabid house DJs and promoters are over here
about staying on top of every trend that comes out of anywhere. Since I
grew bored of all night house parties years ago I don't attend them
anymore (my faves were the Garage parties though).Since then even
outsiders like myself are aware of these styles though.

Toronto Local: The Roots rolled into town this past weekend for the THIRD
time this year this time with Ras Kass and Jeru in tow.

James Brown performs at the Concert Hall ticket prices - $45 gen
adm and $85 for 'gold circle' seats with champagne and caviar
served - UUUNNNHHH!

Anyone heared of a Ninja affiliated DJ called Drome? he's playing
with a bunch of Montreal/Toronto D N'B DJs here in Toronto on Nov 23rd

overheared while at AJ night at El Convento Rico club last night:

'Why do they call it techno? - because I just can't tech no more!'
