yeah, this comp does a pretty good job of going through the history
from 91-95 or thereabouts -- it runs the gamut of breakbeat techno,
happy choons, darkside, eventually progressing toward classics like
Omni Trio's "Renegade Snares" . toward the end, one begins to hear the
beginnings of ragga jungle, but the selection pretty much stops at that
point in time -- one doesn't hear the drum-n-bass style emerging yet.
the "gun" the robot is holding is a smokin' technics 1200 turntable.
