Salut,

First of all I wanted to say that I was very happy to see Bambi back
again (allright, the email is now 10 days old, but still...).
Regarding the track he was talking about, yes, Boom Bass used to be
Pigalle Boom Bass, half of la Funk Mob (the other half being
Zdar... so you get that L'homme qui valait les 3 milliards is a La
funk mob record! :). Talking about la Funk Mob, there seems to be a
remix of "Woman", by Neneh Cherry by them, I'm gonna check it out as
soon as possible and tell you more.

Another new thing here is "1,2,3 tonz of Phunk", by Daphreephunkateerz
on Artefact, there is perhaps a La Funk Mob remix on this as well...
Sorry can't be more precise.

On Big Cheese Records the Menu vol. II is out now, and if you're lucky
(at least here in France) you can get a comic by Lazoo together with
the record (Lazoo is the one that makes these funky graphics on most
of Big Cheese Records productions). The label is Small/Sony music, and
featured artists include Osez (ex-Sens Unik), les Disciples, Yaya,
Foxaphonk, Swap, Zona 45, Fifa, Dag (Righteous namely... how
strange..), King Kooba and Malka Family.

Soon E MC has his second LP out, "Intime Conviction" on EMI, a bit
more hardcore oriented in the lyrics, still quite smooth for the
beats.

Thanks for the input on "bouge de la"'s sample, by the way.
And I'm on the size of those who like Rebirth of Cool 6, I think it's
a great thing to put Alex Reece and this track by the not-so-young
guitarist (can't remember the name) on the same comp.

See you

Daniel
