Hi,..I've just got a copy of Alex's Reece's album yesterday.
Australians,..it's out now so hassle your local stores for it! It's on 4th
& Broadway which is distributed by Polygram Australia I believe. Great CD!
I think the tracks I'd heard already are clearly the best ones i.e. Feel
the Sunshine and Pulp Friction but the rest of it holds up very well. I
picked it up from the store just before I went to the gym so I got the gym
staff to put it on for me while I pumped some iron. (Drum'n'Bass is
excellent music to work-out to!). Everyone was really digging it & I
think I saw several people go up to Reception to find out what it was.

Also excellent is Ernest Ranglin's "Below the Bassline". Think of reggae
meets jazz & have a jammin' funkin' good time! This one's out on the
Jamaican Jazz label which is part of Island Records. I haven't got it yet,
but you'll probably also want to get the Monty Alexander album which was
released at the same time.
