Salut,

Just a quick note in response to what someone just posted (sorry, lost
the mail!): the ep you mention is probably from the "Messe pour le
temps present" remixes LP i mentioned a few months ago: it's an album
of remixes by contemporary djs, most from france but if i remember
well there's also tek 9 among others. Messe pour le temps present is a
work of ... call it contemporary classical music, by Pierre Henry
(who's still alive by the way), that was made as the analog synths
were just born. The idea was to revisit the whole album through
remixes, but aparently from what i heard the result is very
"irregular": some good things (aparently the Dimitri from paris track
is dope), some not... anyway i think mighty bop is also involved, and
perhaps gilb r and/or daft punk.... can't remember, sorry, haven't
found it here in rome...

speaking about daft punk, a good reason to prefer vinyl vs cd is that
you can play "ad funk" on their "homework" lp backwards... and get
their major hit "da funk", although i'm sure many of you already
noticed that.

well, all in all not a very interesting message, sorry, end of
week..:)

Daniel
