Squarepusher: Big Loada
Once again great stuff by squarepusher. he never ceases to be amazing.
Less jazzy than anything he's done to date, this is more a workout on his
drum machine. He goes crazy with that thing. I dont think he ever repeats
himself once throughout the entire ep.
Luke Vibert: Big Soup
I like Wagon CHrist, I like Plug, but I dont like this. Its just boring.
the idea is good (blending his two personas into one) but the music isnt.
Someone a few days ago said Vibert and Squarepusher were the only two
guiys doing anything amazing. I agree whole heartedly on squarpusher, but
you're going ot have to point the genius in Vibert out to me, because I
missed it.
Coldcut: More Beats and Pieces
Unfortunatley I dont have a tack listing of who's doing which remixes on
this extended single (something like 8 versions), but this is some great
stuff! If you have 8 different people doing the same song and none of
them sound even close, then I think you may have stumbled onto something
great.
