The single you have is not exactly a shining gem but is good to have
nonetheless. I don't think that it's Stax's first record as the serial number
may imply because I don't even think that Soul Limbo was Booker T. and the MG's
first LP. But then, I'll have to confirm this with some bio info..I'll check
it out.

ok, so I was going through this small box of 45s that my mom has given me and
although most are 50s/early 60s stuff (the shirelles/valli boys etc.) I found
one dope record by Booker T. & the MGs - one side is "Soul-Limbo" and the
other "Heads or Tails". I also noticed that the catalog number was STA-0001,
thinking I may have a little gem on my hands. Is this so? Anybody want to
educate me/the list about the stax record label?
