Hey music headz,

The OM Records Posse is heading to L.A. this weekend to set the record
straight! Chris Smith (founder of OM) and I are DJing at "Frequency" on
Friday night at the Hollywood Athletic Club. I guess it's a big
schwanky affair with Cirrus performing, Christopher Lawrence DJing and
Jason Bentley doing the rest, as "resident". The time is 9p.m. - 3a.m.

In any event, if you want to hear some fucked up sounds and some cool
rare records, come check us out in the side room (this is where UFO and
Talvin Signh DJed). We're also DJing for the opening of the L.A. LowRes
Fest - a totally stellar young group of indie film makers whose
international film festival is both excellent and growing rapidly.
Their "after party" event takes place Friday the same night upstairs at
the Hollywood Athletic Club. A must see for anyone remotely interested
in the future of young film makers..

Speaking of young film makers...

Nick Philip - the man behind our latest release, Radical Beauty - will
also be in town, showing his world-class digital animation and music
videos during the Film Festival (it'll be on AMP this fall) and from
12midnight on at the club.

He'll be available for interviews, computer demos and stiff
drinks...Call me or email me if you want to set it up....

Radical Beauty has been a year in the making and is out in stores now!

Radical Beauty is a two CD/CD-Rom package (and double vinyl) with some
very intense beatz from the likes of T-Power, Mix Master Morris, Skylab,
Jonah Sharp, Journeyman, PFM, Daniel Pemberton and other experimental
producers. The CD-Rom is easily the best one OM has ever put out - with
loads of computer animation, interactive haikus, live web links to
important political and cultural educational sites.

Here's a sampling of what you might hear from us at "Frequency":

New OM Records white labels
New Photek cuts from the album
New stuff on Congo Natty Records
Frankie Smith's "Double Dutch Bus"
Some surprises from Kraftwerk
Kid Koala's new one
Sun Ra's "Nuclear War"
Deep Concentration
Herbie Hancock's "Rockit" (European Version)
The theme from the Six Million Dollar Man
New Liquid Liquid remixes from Mo'Wax
DJ Vadim and the Jazz Fudge Posse
Some Bob James 45s
a bunch of drum & bass
And other nasty joints....

Come join the debauchery!

If you've got any ideas for Saturday - let me know.....?

peace and good music

music is universal...

"When you're playing drum you're touching the heart and the brain. That
what move the people. That what move the spirit in the people. Cah the
people cannot move until you touch their spirit, and you wake their
spirit and the spirit wake their body."
