impressive list! i am surprised however that you didn't include "daytona
500" by ghostface killer (one of the wu gambinos...), but that's why i'm
posting, isn't it? that was actually the 1st track that sprung to mind
w/the
mention of wu & "nautilus".

bob is pretty popular to sample though, and it's not just limited to hiphop.
two jungle/d&b tracks i like sample bob's "westchester lady"--adam f
("circles") & icons (i don't know the name of the track, but it's on
"emotions w/intellect"). adam uses the opening piano lick from the melody,
icons use the opening bass line. of course when i'm waxing poetic (whenever

i'm not spinning or sleeping...) i'll tell you that jungle/d&b is the u.k.'s

indigenous form of hiphop...
