Well, it was a dissapointing evening, actually. James didn't show up, a guy
called Johnny Moy played with the psychonauts. As it happened, he was pretty
good, his scratching was great, and the hip-hop he was playing was quite an
eclectic mix ranging from blunted rap to 70's-esque funk.

I'd heard that the propellerheads were playing there too that night but
there was no sign of them either :-(

I enjoyed the evening, but I was a little annoyed at paying 7ukp to see
someone who wasn't even there. Still, it was worth the entry fee to see lots
of house kids grooving to the hip-hop, even though the room was nowhere near
full. I think they should have put the psychonauts in the small back room, a
fuller room would have made for a much better atmosphere.

The worst dissapointment of all that weekend was finding out that the
Beastie Boys were playing at a local club, but a day _after_ the gig! Some
you win...
