if you are looking for a "listener's turntable" pretty much anything you
find at a garage sale will work out fine. be sure that it works and that
there are no parts missing (ie the stylus).. some turntables will have a
pitch control on them which can be quite nice for adjusting a lp's speed to
your taste. if you are thinking about doing any dj'ing or backcueing and
whatnot look no further that the ole technics 1200 standard.
