Yes, there is a new remastering that they did thru a tube amp!
Also, 'Birth of the Cool' is very different, it's a nonet, (nine
instruments piano, drums, bass, trumpet, alto, bari, 'bone, and tuba! and
french horn!)
--you'll also now know all the allusions, (rebirth of the cool, rebirth of
the slick, etc.)

Actually, I would reccomend 'Time Out' I has his more interusting non-4/4
beat stuff (i.e. Take Five (5/4 time writen by Paul Desmond the Alto)
