Well, I rushed of to the video shop first thing this morning and got a copy
of The Wizard of Oz, and sat there and followed the instructions to the
letter, and while a couple of things seemed relevant, for the most part
they just seemed like very vague coincidences to me.

But, after re-reading the original post, it *could* be a problem with
speed. While some of the early pairings occured at the right time, even by
the tornado scene things seemed to be out by about a minute.

While Dorothy and her house were flying around in the tornado, the intense
screaming of 'The Great Gig in the Sky' matched wonderfully, when the house
landed, and Dorothy started creeping around wondering what had happened,
the intense screamimg was still going on - about a minute later the music
quieted to the soft screaming (which fitted very well to the creeping scene).

So, by the end of the movie the heartbeat was really nowhere near the scene
with Dorothy listening to the Tinman's chest. And everything in between
didn't really fit, either.

'Twas a normal CD player and a normal video player, so I don't know what
happened.

Even so - I think the times the music had *nothing* to do with the movie
would have greatly out-weighed the coincidences

I'm not convinced.

Marc.

PS. Immediately afterward I tried playing the movie along to Kruder &
Dorfmeisrer's 'DJ Kicks', and it fitted quite well, too. :)
