As far as progress is concerned, we are now getting close (assuming everyone's
still up for it) towards actually getting down to business. As of today there
are 14 contributions with 2-3 more expected by the end of the week. After
receiving these and giving the stragglers one more shot at at least contacting
me and letting me know what's up, I'll start the next phase of the process,
which is a massive duplication effort in order to allow the artists themselves
to vote on who will be included on the compilation. It's saddening that we
all can't be on there...
I've really enjoyed listening to all your submissions. One of the great
things about taking these inital steps is that by doing so the musicians on
this list will all get an opportunity to hear each other, which I believe is a
worthwile endeavor in and of itself. Even better would be the opportunity to
let all the members of the list hear us as well!
