All,

A classic night out was had by all concerned. Overproof vodka, wicked
music and a stay behind in a friend's pub.

The venue - Heebie Jeebies (crap name I know) was kind of like the Cavern
Club (which is only a 10 minute walk away fact fans) back in the 60's,
all brick arches and sweat dripping off the ceiling. There was no way
however, that you could mistake the Herbaliser for the Beatles; for one
thing, the drummer's good.

Top band. try to catch them if you can.

----

Whilst I was at the gig, I bought their new album (not due out for 2
weeks) on CD. That as well is really good.

----

Coincidence of the night. My mate JP and I were talking to Jake (their
bass player and producer) about stuff and it turns out that JP's mam
knows Jakes granddad. He owned a stall in Greatie market (about 30 secs
from my house in Liverpool).

It's a small old world.
