Well, just so happens that I am listening to Fila Brazilia, MESS now, and
it has been a regular in the player for the last four months... another
good one is Black Market ... (can't remember the last word, sorry). The
only Solid Doctor that I have heard was on a Quango/Island US domestic
release from about a year ago called A Taste of Pork, but they are
definitely smooth as well. It's really a very similar vibe, other bands on
that comp were: r earth and heights of abraham, neither of whom I have
heard of before or after.

Actually both of the Fila Brazilia I got from Japan, but I do see Solid
Doctor stuff, for reasonable prices, alot at Reckless Records on Broadway
& Belmont here in Chicago, in fact this store is pretty much where I do
all my domestic shopping, they have good sources on French stuff so that
it comes in at regular prices instead of import prices, albeit they are
late getting stuff. They also have alot of nice acid jazz vinyl as well.

Just a thought, I think that Fila and Solid Doctor are on Pork and not
Ninja Tune, unless they joined...
