I don't think it sounds anything like what you describe -- I think it
sounds like the McLaughlin/Zappa/Corea school of jazz-rock at about 210
bpm. I don't hear anthems, I'm not comparing it to the last album, or
anything like that other than the fact that I was surprised to learn that
Alroy Road Tracks is Jenkinson, too -- I don't even know which track is
which (don't care really). What I hear is just this album that has
entertaining music with a lot of depth and challenges my perception of the
way music is organised ... and I'm going to try to listen to it frequently
enough to know what it is when I hear it, but not enough that it'll be
killed for me in 6 months.
