I feel so young and I guess lucky. I really didn't listen to popular music
untill I was in high school. Until then I was listening to my dad's jazz
records (Brubeck, MJQ) and my mom's classical/vocal (the King's Singers,
Gilbert & Sullivan), I don't remember my first tape I bought but it was
probably either Eddie Daniels (jazz clarinet) or Bobby McFerrin. Not soon
after that I read about massive attack in my mom's Elle magazine, and got
'blue lines' some time around the end of high school.
The only record I'm scared of is my Vanilla Ice (though he still seemed
pretty weak).

Also along another vein, I just found the Source Lab 1-3, bought 1-2. I
was pleasently suprised with all the drum&bass, but am still confuzed by
Raggasonic. I liked their regge track on the 'La Ha=EFne: music inspir=E9es=
du
film' but, was thrown for a loop by their more drum&bass track on Source
Lab 1. What are they?

And, when will the MC Solaar LP come to the states!!!!!
