Yes, check out the 'Moving Shadow' record label, their drum & bass is very
jazzy and intelligent.
In particular, I'd recommend the e-zrollers (Moving Shadow). I just bought
their album 'Dimensions of Sound' and I really enjoyed it.
Their sound is quite light, with vocals on some tracks. (Check out 'Jazz
Talking' - track 4), also on the CD is the Photek remix of 'Dropping
Science'. I bought it at the same time as Roni Size/Reprazent's 'New Forms'
and the two go well together, with the e-zrollers having a lighter feel.

If you want to go more far out than Drum & Bass, then check out a 2CD German
compilation called 'Mellow Tunes', it features Ninja Tune stuff, Major
Force, etc. etc, loads of really blunted hip-hop. I found it in a local
record store for £5, best fiver I ever spent!
I can't remember who released it, but I'll look it up if anyone's interested.

Cheers,
Tim Kemp
