Yeah, we all know how much artists hate to have a label put on their
creations (of course nothing will EVER be able to substitute for the music
itself). But as a grad student in what used to be called a "library
studies" program (it's not just books anymore, in fact it's much more than
just libraries anymore), I deal on a daily basis with the problem of how to
organize vast amounts of information, and I can tell you that labels like
sure make it a lot easier to FIND stuff.
